Due to the current restrictions and guidelines...
The Baptist Union alongside the government ' safe use of churches' have
brought out new guidelines for those in areas which are in Tier 4.
Unfortunately the guidelines say that children and youth activities cannot
take place during a church service as well as during the week. This means that
we will be unable to have CBBC and year 5 and 6 groups on a Sunday morning
whilst we are in tier 4.
The Leadership Team agree that the responsible thing for us to do is to
follow the guidelines so I am sorry to say there will be no Sunday School until
the situation changes.
You will still be able to bring your children to church but they will have
to stay with you as there can be no supervised activities.
We can make the Upper lounge specifically for families where the service can
be followed on the tv there for those who may wish to use it.
I will provide some activities that the children can do if they do come to
church and there will be an All Age slot in the service and we will look at
other ways to include them.
We will be continuing with CBBC on Saturdays for those who wish to come and
there will be Alive on Fridays and the year 5 and 6 group on Mondays.
We realise that this will have an impact on those of you who come physically
to church and hope you will still feel able to come.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
Every blessing for the new year
